Clinic Enmedic is the pioneer of clinical endocrinology in Georgia. It was founded on the basis of the Endocrinology Department of the First Clinical Hospital of Tbilisi and established by the well-known scientist and educator Vaja Iverieli. Our history dates back to the 1960s, when the first endocrinology department in Georgia began operating. Later, it became the first independent endocrinology clinic in the entire Caucasus region.

Since 2024, our clinics in Tbilisi and Batumi have been awarded international accreditation by the American Accreditation Commission International (AACI), confirming the compliance of our medical services and safety standards with international requirements.

Quality Policy

The goal of our clinic is to ensure the provision of high-quality, accessible, and continuous medical services in a safe environment, achieving, maintaining, and developing a high level of patient satisfaction through the implementation of a quality policy.

To achieve these goals, the clinic has established a Quality Management System (QMS), overseen by the clinic’s Quality Management Committee.

The key instruments of the QMS include process standardization, planning, execution, monitoring/control, performance measurement and analysis, and the development and implementation of corrective actions and recommendations. These tools enable oversight of all processes within the clinic.

Among them:

  • Quality of medical services (clinical, diagnostic, laboratory, pathological);

  • Patient safety (including rational and proper use of medicines and blood/blood components, polypharmacy control);

  • Sanitary-hygienic and infection control measures;

  • Quality of external processes (contractors);

  • Compliance with current legislation, standards, and internal instructions;

  • Waste management system;

  • Handling of patient and employee complaints/satisfaction levels;

  • Risk management (physical environment, infrastructure, technical equipment, critical processes);

  • Staff education and training.
