Founder of the Enmedic Clinic and a pioneer of Georgian endocrinology, Professor Vazha Iverieli is one of the most prominent figures in the history of Georgian medical science. His work and innovative approaches are still regarded as a cornerstone of academic and practical medicine.

Born in Poti, Vazha Iverieli graduated from Tbilisi State Medical Institute in 1946 and began his medical career at the Republican Central Clinical Hospital. He later served as an assistant and postgraduate researcher at the Department of Physiology at Telavi Medical Institute, and continued his studies in Leningrad, where he defended his doctoral dissertatio
